The estimate comes from satellite measurements, so it is a ballpark, not a quote. Nothing is final until someone has been on the roof. The tool measures the whole roof: if part of yours is tile or foam, the shingle section is what counts.

How the estimate works

  1. Type your address. The tool finds your roof on satellite imagery and traces its outline. If it picks the wrong building, drag the corners to fix it.
  2. Pick your roof’s pitch. A steeper roof has more surface than its footprint.

What a satellite can’t see
