We come out, confirm the roof is asphalt shingle, check the shingles up close, and tell you whether rejuvenation fits. The visit costs nothing. If your roof isn’t a fit, you’ll hear that, along with the reason.
What we look at
- Roof type. Shingles only. If it turns out to be tile or foam, the visit is short.
- How the shingles feel. Flexibility, cracking, curling, lifted or missing tabs, and how many granules are left.
- The rest of the roof. Flashing, valleys and vents, since the treatment fixes none of them.
- The maker’s limits. SoyLei, which makes the product we use, lists roofs it is not meant for, such as ones with active leaks or hail damage. We check against that list.
- Your shingle warranty. Some shingle makers advise against field-applied rejuvenators, so we talk through what that means for you.
- HOA rules. If you’re in an HOA, we’ll point out what to ask before any treatment.
What you get at the end
One of three answers: treat it, wait, or call a roofer about repair or replacement. We don’t do repairs, so if that’s the answer, we say so. If it’s a fit, we explain the work and what treatment day looks like, and give you a price for your roof. We show you what we found, and there is no obligation to book.
Before we come
You don’t need to do anything special. If you have paperwork from the roof install, your shingle warranty or your HOA’s rules, keep them handy. A rough idea of the roof’s age helps too.
